The eating well challenge
I am on a road trip, that means keeping my healthy habits is going to be a challenge. Every time I stray off my routine it is challenging to eat well and rest properly. But this time I decided that I was going to make a huge effort. I have my blender with me, all my vitamins, the protein powder, the oils, the chia seeds. All were packed and are joining me on the trip.
The hardest part is to keep the refrigerated things ok, but it is going quite well.I have a good stock with me because the next time I will find a whole foods store is probably after 5 day´s in New York.
It is really about the ME time, putting us first
I was talking to a friend about this, and recalling the oxygen-mask story. The oxygen mask theory is basically based on the things the stewardess say´s before takeoff. If the oxygen in the plane drops put the mask on you first and then assist the child.
It is pretty basic, if we do not take care of ourselves, we are in no shape to take care of others.

I am proud of the Polish bee farmers and their accomplishments to agriculture.
Poland is the first country to formally acknowledge the link between Monsanto’s genetically engineered corn and the Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) that’s been devastating bees around the world. What that means is that bees have been disappearing. If the bees disappear we are in big trouble because of their important role in pollination. And who has bought the leading research company for CCD? Well you guessed it! Monsanto
I saw this trailer on the film»Queen of the sun«. The film is about the disappearance of the bees. It is very interesting and frightening at the same time. This is what the Colony Collapse Disorder is about.
What that has to do with GMO? Well, in America there are no requirements to label GMO foods as you can see in this graph
Most governments are protecting the citizens and requiring labelling of GMO foods. But the general public in America does not even know what GMO is;
We need the FDA to regulate the GMO foods, so that we have a choice. We need the FDA on the people’s side for once and make labelling of GMO foods mandatory.
Go to www.labelgmo.org to learn more
Here is a video if you have never heard of Monsanto and where they come from. They are originally a chemical company so why are they in food production?

I don’t want to make money, I just want to be wonderful.
I wish I could just relax and live by the wisdom of wonderful Marilyn. But I am preoccupied with trust.
Not trusting people but having faith in life. Having faith that everything is going to be just fine. I am in a limbo. I just finished the school year. I´ve been an exchange student in the USA since August last year. Now I am preparing to go back home to Iceland.
My daughter finishes her school next week and then we can leave. When I come home I have no job, neither does my husband. We have a place to stay. But there is no economic security. And the task ahead is to trust that everything will be fine. That I vill get some job for the summer. That we will be able to support ourselves. I could worry. But I have learned that worrying in advance is not getting me any closer to my goals.
So what is left then?
To let go, and TRUST life
To have faith in life, everything will be fine!

“Your daily life is your temple and your religion. When you enter into it take with you your all.”
What has the globe to do with me being holistic?
For me it has everything to do with it. Holistic approach regards all aspects of life. It includes respecting others. Other species, other people. And passing on the earth in better shape than it was when we took over. It is about my own garden.
Sadly the 100 largest economic units on the planet now are 49 countries and 51 corporations. Which means that the corporations are the driving force of decision-making . Do they generally care for the planet? I think they are not preoccupied with saving anything but face at a stockholder meeting.
But the fun fact is that the CEO´s and investors are mortals like the rest of us. They will not be able to take their accumulated wealth or property over to the land of the dead any more than we do. So why the sacrifice? Why have we,the human race strayed so far from our nature?
“Death is more universal than life, everyone dies but not everyone lives.”
I urge you to spend the ten minutes it takes to watch the film, this is a message from our mother. Mother earth.
About the film:
This incredible short film shares an Indigenous Native American Prophecy that links all of life and the future of our planet.

Emotions, of themselves, are not a problem. Everyone experiences a range of emotional feeling throughout their lives: Sadness, anger, joy, worry and so forth. They are a natural part of our embodied experience and a normal response to our environment. They are neither positive nor negative. They only become problematic when they are notably intense and excessive and, especially, when prolonged over a long period of time, without expression or acknowledgment. Everyone feels anger at times, but it is normally a strong, but short-lived, response to a direct and immediate stimulus. It is when anger is sustained for months or years that it becomes an endogenous cause of disease.
In the view of Traditional Asian Medicine (TAM), mind and body are interconnected and inseparable. Therefore, extreme emotions can not only cause a disharmony in the functioning of the internal organs of the body but imbalanced organ functions can cause…

The Protein Myth
Health Basics: 10 tricks to never eating meat again
by S. D. Wells
What is the first question a meat-eater asks when you tell them you never eat meat? «Where do you get your protein from?» That protein myth has been dispelled for many years, in fact, there’s more bio-ready «available» protein in raw vegetables than in meat, and it only takes a few minutes for the body to break down the vegetables to access it, unlike meat, where the body must do a ton of work just to access the same «amino acids» for which the body is searching. Some of the greatest athletes in the world are vegans and vegetarians. (not to mention mammal giants such as whales and elephants!)
The second most popular question asked of a vegetarian is, «Why don’t you eat meat — is it because of the hormones or…
